The skating course is for those who want to learn basic skating techniques and improve their balance on skate skis. It is an advantage to be able to classical from before, but this is not a requirement.
After the course you should have a good starting point to go with the different techniques of skating on your ski trips!
Used in flat areas and on gentle downhill slopes. This technique ensures fast and efficient propulsion.
A skating technique used on moderate terrain. The skier pushes from with one leg at a time, with a pole roof on each slide.
It is a technique for coping with uphill hills. You learn how to climb slopes efficiently and retain momentum.
Technique used in counterslopes that combines the traditional herringbone pattern with a gliding motion, in which the arms and legs work synchronously to create propulsion.
Used at high speed and smooth downhill slopes without the use of poles. The technique is characterized by compact body position, effective leg work and good balance
