Norwegian Ski Course: Learn the language while exploring the ski slopes

Have you recently moved to Norway and want to become part of the local culture? Skiing is an important part of the Norwegian identity and can help you get to know the Norwegian way of life, make new friends and stay active through the winter.

What's included

  • Duration: 90 minutes of fun and practical ski and language training.

  • Location: Sognsvann

  • Equipment Rental: Available — we bring all equipment to the venue to make logistics easier for you.

  • Ski training: Learn basic classic style cross-country skiing techniques

The Language Paper has two parts:

  • Part 1: Introduction to ski equipment, clothing, skiing techniques, and trails.

  • Part 2: Road finding, snow types, terrain and safety, as well as unwritten rules of the trail.

Recommendation: 2-day course gives you the full experience and mastery both in skiing and norwegian, but it is also possible with 1-day courses!
